Jobless benefits climb to 357,000. GDP growth for 4th quarter tiny bit better than first report

In what could be the first signs of an impact from the budget sequestration, the Department of Labor reported Thursday that for the week ending March 23, seasonally adjusted initial claims for jobless benefits rose to 357,000, up 16,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 341,000.
